Built by a professor and a banker.
Built with love.
"We spent our whole lives in service โ teaching, banking, building a family. When we retired, we asked ourselves: what do we want to give the world? The answer was simple. A place where people can slow down, eat clean, breathe mountain air, and feel genuinely at home โ the way life is meant to be lived."
Neelima & R.B. SrivastavaHosts and founders ยท RBS Farm Stay, Rishikesh
Neelima Srivastava spent decades as a Chemistry Professor, holding an MSc in Chemistry. R.B. Srivastava served with dedication as a banker for most of his working life. Between them, they shaped careers, raised a family, and quietly held on to a dream โ a piece of land in Rishikesh, close to the Himalayas and the sacred Ganga, where life could be lived slowly and well.
That dream became RBS Farm Stay. They planned every room, planted every vegetable, and chose every fixture themselves. The warm bedrooms, the fully stocked kitchen, the glorious rooftop with its Himalayan panorama โ all of it carries their fingerprints and their heart.
Their vision: to share what it feels like to stay at a beloved family home in the hills โ where the air is clean, the food is grown right outside, the mountains greet you every morning, and someone genuinely cares about your comfort. No hotel formality. Just warm, wholesome Indian hospitality.
"This is our home. We are just sharing it with you. Come, stay, and treat it as your own."
